About the Event
Join us for the world premiere of People 4 Peace, the night will include a Q&A with Tryna Gower and group, and live music provided by Indigenous earthy folk artist, Lorissa Scriven.
People 4 Peace is a short multicultural documentary film featuring 4 different artists from Treaty 8 Territory and their paths to internal peace. For peace on the outside, we must find and connect with the peace that naturally exists inside us. Once we have insight to our own peace, then we can proactively build peace collectively.
Doors open at 6:30 with live music, and light refreshments to accompany, and at 7:00 pm the film rolls. After the 22-minute short film, there will be a Q&A and artists speak on the stage, to be followed by more live music & a meet and greet in the lobby. We encourage you to visit with people you may know and enjoy each other while we initiate conversations about what peace means.
