Tatiana
KPAC Dance Coordinator
Tatiana is a dedicated ballet coach and program coordinator for dance programing with KPAC this year. With classical training that includes the comprehensive RAD syllabus and advanced work recognized by the American Performance Awards, Tatiana intends to bring a stage focused curriculum to refine technical precision, musicality, and stage presence in our studios.
Tatiana will be integrating Progressive Ballet Technique (PBT) into our newly updated programming, this conditioning method focuses on muscle memory, helping dancers safely maximize core stability, helping dancers safely maximize core stability, alignment, and joint health.
As Dance Coordinator for KPAC this year, Tatiana is excited to introduce new supportive programming, a fun calendar year for our student body, and is committed to supporting the next generation of healthy and dedicated artists.
Morgen
Dance Instructor
With a life long dedication to dance beginning at the age of 6, Morgen has trained extensively in tap, jazz, hip hop, lyrical and baton.
Her diverse instructional background includes teaching recreational, competitive, and adult dancers across a wide range of ages and abilities.
Passionate about the art performance, she focuses on building technique and confidence in an encouraging classroom environment.
She looks forward to helping KPAC dancers develop their skills and celebrate their hard work throughout the upcoming season!
Jessabell
Dance Instructor
Jessabell Porras is a dancer, choreographer, and instructor. Growing up in Dawson Creek, she fell in love with dance at a young age with strong foundations in various styles such as hiphop, jazz, ballet and contemporary.
She is committed to ongoing artistic growth and actively seeks opportunities to train internationally. Having taken classes in the Philippines, South Korea, and the United States. She values these experiences as they broadened her artistic perspective and deepened her appreciation for the cultural connections within dance.
Jessabell recently earned her Business Management diploma from Northern Lights College. She is excited to merge her business education with her passion for dance as she continues to grow as both an artist and entrepreneur.
As an instructor, Jessabell is dedicated to creating a positive and supportive environment where dancers can build confidence, strengthen their technical foundation, and develop their own artistic voice. She believes dance education should empower students not only as dancers but also as creative, resilient, and confident individuals.
She is excited to be teaching Hip Hop, Jazz, and Contemporary this season!
Kathy
Dance Instructor
Kathy McGrath was the owner and principal instructor of the Fleita Tutte School of Dance in the Fraser Valley for decades; a competitive dance school for ages 3 to 60+ in the genres of tap, jazz, musical theatre/stage, and baton.
Participating in many competitions and festivals (Vancouver, Lower Mainland, Prince George) led to invitations to compete in BC Provincial Finals and others such as Championships in Oregon. Some of the awards included group highpoint, provincial junior champion soloist, senior provincial champion soloist, most promising choreographer. A highlight for many of the students was being invited to dance in Disneyland! Twice!!
